With our being in the thick of this abbreviated (and horrible) NBA season, my insistence on telling people about my fantasy basketball team has treated me to more eyes glazing over than I am able to count. First of all, as someone who has engaged in fantasy sports numerous times, let me preface by saying this: I AM aware no one cares about my fantasy basketball team. And that’s fair! But much like my father telling me about his sheep (seriously), I am still going to talk about it for two reasons: One, I’m in too deep to be able to control myself, and two, I kind of like irritating people.
